PineView Community Hospital Wing
40-Bed Wing · Healthcare Grade · Montréal, QC
A 40-bed modular hospital wing expansion for PineView Health in Montréal, featuring healthcare-grade sterile corridors, full medical gas integration, and complete MEP systems. The wing was brought online without disrupting existing hospital operations.
The Challenge
PineView Health needed to expand patient capacity quickly without taking any existing beds offline. Traditional hospital construction is among the most complex and slow of any building type — typically requiring 3–5 years. The hospital couldn't afford that timeline.
Our Solution
We designed a modular wing built to CAN/CSA Z8000 healthcare facility standards. All modules were constructed and outfitted at our factory — including sterile wall panels, medical gas piping, nurse call systems, and HEPA filtration. The wing was connected to the existing hospital structure in a planned 2-week shutdown window and brought fully online within 4 weeks of installation.

Project Highlights
CAN/CSA Z8000 healthcare facility standards throughout
Medical gas piping (O₂, N₂O, vacuum) pre-installed in factory
Sterile-rated wall and ceiling panel systems
HEPA filtration and negative pressure isolation room capability
Nurse call, patient monitoring, and emergency power systems integrated
Existing hospital operations uninterrupted during installation
